At Unity Eye Centers our mission is to be the provider of choice by providing excellent patient care and best products while supporting our commUNITY. Unity started in January of 2020 at the beginning of an uncertain year. Dr. Dan Mickey, Dr. Steve Miller, Dr. Jeff Pape, Dr. Courtney Goetsch, Dr. Chad Hudnall, and Dr. Josh Conner worked together to share their vast knowledge and experience. This group of doctors brought together several local practices and merged them under one, care-oriented umbrella forming Unity.

Each business with Unity has a rich history of serving their respective communities. The Grand Island office has served their community over 25 years, Columbus, over 30, and Norfolk for over 50 years! These offices combined have over 100 employees dedicated to their practice and the members of the communities they serve.  

Our practices don’t just want to support the community, they also want to provide great eyecare! Each Unity staff member must be certified in their specific areas. Each of our doctors are certified by the American Optometric Association and are members of the Nebraska Optometric Association. 

When you visit a Unity Eye Center, you will receive the best care with our state of the art technology and services. We offer comprehensive eye exams for children through seniors, contact lense fittings, specialty lens fittings, eye disease diagnosis and management, lasik pre-op/post-op, optomap dialation free exams, digital eye strain, sports vision, dry eye treatment, and vision therapy. 
We serve multiple communities in the state of Nebraska including Columbus, Norfolk, Grand Island, St. Paul and Pierce.
