The Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (UNIA) is a public higher education institution established by regional law in 1994 in Andalusia, Spain. Its mission is to contribute to the creation, development, transmission, and critical examination of science, technology, and culture through teaching, coordinated research, and the international and interregional exchange of scientific and technological information. Located in Sevilla, the university operates as a mid-sized public institution supporting a broad spectrum of academic activity. Its programs and partnerships serve students, researchers, and other academic collaborators engaged in cross-border and intercultural scholarship, including joint master’s programs such as the 2021 initiative with Pablo de Olavide University in Human Rights, Interculturality and Development. In May 2026, UNIA hosted the third edition of the Ibero-American Meetings in La Rábida, underscoring its role as a forum for university reflection in the Ibero-American context.
