Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, founded in 1996, is the most modern of the public universities in the Madrid region. It currently has 43.000 students enrolled for formal qualifications, and is the public university with the second largest number of students in the region. URJC has five campuses: Alcorcón, Aranjuez, Fuenlabrada, Madrid and Móstoles, and in this academic year, sixty-one degree qualifications, of which nine are taught and studied in English and nine are of blended learning (face-to-face and online), seventy-nine Double Degrees and seventy-six university Master's programmes, which are in five branches of knowledge. At Rey Juan Carlos University, we promote active cooperation projects with scientific and cultural institutions and companies since one of our main objectives is to be permeable to our social and productive environment.
