The Université d'Angers is a multi-campus institution based in Angers, in the Pays de la Loire region of France. It operates on three main Angers campuses—Belle-Beille, St Serge, and Santé—with additional campuses in Cholet and Saumur and a satellite site in Les Sables-d'Olonne. Tracing its origins to the medieval era and reestablished in its current form in 1971, the university offers more than 450 degree programs across eight academic units. The university serves a large student community, including more than 26,000 students and a substantial number of continuing education participants, with curricula designed to lead to professional outcomes.
