Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO) is a public francophone university and research institution within the Université du Québec network, located in the Outaouais region and in the Laurentides, with a campus at 283 Boulevard Alexandre‑Taché, Succursale Saint‑Jérôme, Quebec J7Z 0B7, Canada. It employs between 1,001 and 5,000 staff. It serves more than 7,300 students and involves nearly 200 professors who lead research teams recognized at the international level, along with hundreds of adjunct lecturers who bring practical experience to its programs. For nearly 30 years, UQO has provided higher education and conducted research in the region. Recent partnerships include a 2026 agreement with Tourisme Outaouais to boost the region’s ability to attract business events, a 2024 collaboration with Habitat Nature to establish the Centre de recherche appliquée sur la biodiversité et les écosystèmes (CRABE), and a 2020 partnership with McGill University to offer the McGill Medicine Preparatory (Med-P) Program in Gatineau.
