The University of Cape Coast is a higher education institution located in Cape Coast, Central Ghana, with between 5,001 and 10,000 employees. It offers liberal, comprehensive, and professional programs and supports distance learning to train professionals for education and business using modern technologies. The university pursues international collaborations, including a Memorandum of Understanding with Blekinge Institute of Technology signed in 2025, and has hosted a delegation to operationalise this agreement, as well as partnerships with NYU Langone and the University of Ghana on research ethics. In 2026, the university announced the appointment of Professor Denis Worlanyo Aheto as Vice-Chancellor, effective August 1, 2026.
