The University of Chicago Charter School is a neighborhood charter school network on Chicago’s South Side, operated by the University of Chicago Urban Education Institute. It comprises four campuses serving students from early childhood through high school, creating a continuous PreK–12 educational pathway.

The schools provide rigorous instruction accompanied by extensive academic and social supports designed to accelerate learning, develop college readiness, and foster self-discipline and leadership. Instruction is research-based and engages students in ambitious intellectual work, with inquiry projects beginning in elementary grades and culminating in senior-year thesis work. In 2022, the network partnered with MAPSCorps to offer paid summer internships to its students.
