Buxton & Leek College is an Ofsted Graded Good College that offers career focused courses across more than 20 subject areas, for all ages, abilities and ambitions; including full and part time courses, work based and industry short courses, University level and Access qualifications, leisure courses, Apprenticeships and Traineeships. The College has the size and resources to provide a comprehensive, high-quality education and training service to students of all ages and abilities from Leek and Buxton and the surrounding areas.

The College came into existence on 1st August 2012 following the merger of Buxton College, Leek College into the University of Derby. Buxton & Leek College is proud to be part of the University of Derby.

This unique position offers students a seamless transition from Level 1 all the way through to University Level courses such as Foundation Degrees, Bachelor Degrees, Masters Degrees and PhDs. All University Level courses at Buxton & Leek College are validated by the University of Derby and students are invited to celebrate the completion of their qualifications at the University Graduation Ceremonies.
