The University of Idaho has long partnered with other educational institutions to provide outstanding programs to northern Idaho: - In 1985, the university began an academic partnership with North Idaho College, including a physical presence on campus in the NIC Administrative Building; - The university provided funds to expand Molstead Library, add six classrooms, and increase administrative space for UI programs in 1989; - In 2001, the university and city entered into an agreement that provided space for the University of Idaho in the Harbor Center; - The Harbor Center provides space to the University of Idaho, Lewis-Clark State College, Idaho State University and Boise State University.
