As part of the state’s premier academic medical center, University of Missouri Health Care offers a full spectrum of care, ranging from primary care to highly specialized, multidisciplinary treatment for patients with the most severe illnesses and injuries. MU Health Care is a part of University of Missouri Health System, which also includes the MU School of Health Professions, the MU School of Medicine, the MU Sinclair School of Nursing and University Physicians practice plan.

University Hospital  includes: The Frank L. Mitchell Jr., MD Trauma Center.  A nationally accredited Cycle II Chest Pain Center and a nationally accredited Primary Stroke Center, the George D. Peak Memorial Burn and Wound Center.

University of Missouri Women’s and Children's Hospital is Missouri's only hospital dedicated to women and children. It is the largest pediatric health care facility in mid-Missouri. 

Ellis Fischel Cancer Center is Missouri’s only hospital dedicated solely to cancer care. 

Missouri Orthopaedic Institute is the newest and largest freestanding orthopaedic center in mid-Missouri. 

The Missouri Psychiatric Center offers short-term, intensive inpatient treatment services for adults, adolescents and children at our facility adjacent to University Hospital.
