Established as a major international university, the University of Northern Virginia offers accredited educational programs at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels. The School of Education offers a Doctor of Education (DEd), a Master of Education (MEd) with different majors for the graduate student. In the School of Management, the graduate program offers a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), a Master of Public Administration (MPA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with several majors to meet a wide variety of student needs, and an Executive MBA (EMBA) for entrepreneurs who would like to enhance their management skills. UNVA also offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with several specializations. The School of Technology offers a Doctor of Information Technology (DIT), a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science and Information Systems Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Systems Technology. The School of Technology also offers the undergraduate student the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology. The School of Liberal Arts provides communications and English courses, developmental programs for English and Math and houses the general education courses; it also evaluates all entering students for placement in the university's graduate and undergraduate programs.
