The University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) is a public higher education institution based in Kongsberg, Buskerud, Norway, with eight campuses spread across Bø, Drammen, Kongsberg, Notodden, Porsgrunn, Rauland, Ringerike and Vestfold. It serves around 17,000 students and offers bachelor, master and doctoral programs, along with continuing education and growing online study options. It positions itself as regionally rooted while pursuing international competitiveness, supported by collaboration across faculties and campuses and strong ties to the labor market and community life. Its primary audience includes students and regional employers and communities that benefit from its education and research across a wide range of disciplines. In March 2026, USN hosted technology events for youths in collaboration with GE Vingmed as part of the CHIPS of Europe project.
