The University of Toronto Mississauga is a large campus of Canada's largest university, located in Mississauga, Ontario, and was established in 1967. From a single temporary building, it has grown into a comprehensive academic community offering 155 programs across 95 areas of study within 17 academic units, including the Mississauga Academy of Medicine housed in the Terrence Donnelly Health Sciences Complex. The campus supports a substantial student population of about 14,544 undergraduate and 904 graduate students. Its academic ecosystem includes several institutes and centers, such as the Institute for Management & Innovation and the Centre for Urban Environments. In 2026, the broader University of Toronto announced the Lawson Climate Institute, a new research initiative launched on Earth Day.
