The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) operates as a national anti-doping organization within the spectator sports sector. Its mandate is to preserve the integrity of athletic competition by implementing initiatives that prevent, deter, and detect violations of fair sport. It promotes the core principles of true sport—fair play, respect for competitors, and the fundamental fairness of competition—to guide current and future U.S. athletes and to protect those competing at the Olympic and Paralympic level. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USADA is a mid-sized organization. In 2024 it announced a collaboration with Epicore Biosystems to explore sweat collection as a less invasive screening method for performance-enhancing drugs.
