The US-ASEAN Business Council is a policy-driven organization that represents U.S. corporations operating in the ASEAN region, aiming to foster trade and investment links between the United States and Southeast Asia. It serves as the principal voice of the U.S. private sector in this increasingly dynamic market, coordinating dialogue with policymakers and regional partners. Its membership includes more than 180 major companies, spanning both fresh entrants and firms with a long-standing presence in Southeast Asia.

Headquartered in Washington, DC, the council maintains regional offices in Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Singapore to coordinate activities across the region. In 2025, it organized the inaugural Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone program, developed in partnership with United Overseas Bank, to explore opportunities across the Causeway. The organization operates within the international trade and development sector, functioning as a conduit between U.S. corporations and ASEAN markets.
