The US China Innovation Alliance (UCIA) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization based in Houston, Texas, focused on fostering collaboration and idea exchange in technology between China and the United States. It operates within the technology, information, and internet space by organizing cross-border initiatives and events. Each year, UCIA conducts the US China Innovation and Investment Summit in Houston, linking Chinese investors with innovative U.S.-based companies. In 2017, it launched the InnoSTARS Competition, which invites small- to mid-sized technology firms to compete for attendance at UCIS and for an all-expenses-paid roadshow to China to meet investors and potential partners. In addition, UCIA organizes roadshows that connect U.S. technology companies with Chinese partners and resources. Its core mission encompasses fostering collaboration among technology firms, venture capital networks, accelerators and incubators, helping Chinese investors access leading U.S. technologies, and assisting U.S.-based companies in finding investment, Chinese partners, and entry to the Chinese market.
