US Citrus, LLC is a small-scale producer focused on growing Persian limes in the United States, with operations based in Hidalgo County, Texas. The company highlights its use of proprietary nursery stock—Super Citrus—developed through micro-budding, and emphasizes farming practices aimed at minimizing chemical inputs, including avoidance of residual herbicides and the use of organic pesticides where possible. In addition to fresh citrus, US Citrus markets high-end gift citrus plants packaged in mason jars, and states the capability to ship plants nationwide subject to USDA compliance. The business operates within the food and beverage manufacturing sector and holds certifications from the USDA and the Texas Department of Agriculture for its plant production facility, positioning itself as a producer of both fruit and ornamental plant products. The company notes a regional role in a market characterized by significant lime imports, and positions itself as supplying relatively fast-to-fruit citrus trees compared with other market options.
