The US High Speed Rail Association is an advocacy-focused organization working to promote a nationwide high-speed rail network across the United States. Its aim is to build broad support from the public, businesses, and policymakers to underpin a major infrastructure investment that would provide fast, safe, and reliable intercity transportation. The group facilitates collaboration by convening stakeholders to form a national coalition and conducts outreach through conferences, educational forums, legislative testimony, networking events, tours, and online media. Its reach spans federal, state, city, and grassroots levels. Based in Washington, D.C., the organization envisions a national express network linking major cities with regional and urban rail, featuring interoperable networks, dedicated tracks, advanced control systems, multi-modal stations, and high-speed trains operating around 220 mph.
