The U.S. Naval War College is a higher education institution based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that develops leaders for naval and maritime security roles. It runs a year-long residential program and a substantial distance-learning program, producing about 600 and 1,000 graduates annually, respectively, with credentials including Joint Professional Military Education credit and either a diploma or a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies.
