The U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council (OCDC) is a small coalition of ten cooperative development organizations that collaborate to apply cooperative approaches to improving livelihoods in developing countries. It is based in Washington, DC, and its members run multi-year programs across more than 70 countries, forming a wide-reaching set of cooperative development initiatives. The group has partnered with the U.S. government for more than fifty years, while also drawing support from other sources, with a focus on income development, food security, and democracy building.

OCDC operates within the research services landscape, coordinating overseas cooperative development activity across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. In December 2022, the council and its partners launched a joint online data platform to display international development projects conducted by cooperative development organizations worldwide. It also produces policy materials and maintains collaborations among member organizations and external partners.
