USA Shooting is the United States' national governing body for Olympic shooting sports within the spectator sports landscape. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, it supports athletes across rifle, pistol, and shotgun disciplines and coordinates participation in international competitions, including ISSF events and World Cup finals. The organization operates with a relatively small staff and concentrates on developing national teams and representing the United States on the world stage. In 2025, USA Shooting named Anthony Lutz as Pistol National Team Manager and hired Dwayne Weger as National Shotgun Team Manager, signaling ongoing leadership development ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. That year also saw the team earn six medals at the ISSF World Championship Shotgun in Athens, illustrating its competitive standing on the international circuit.
