The USA Track & Field Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2002 that supports the development of track and field athletes across levels, from youth programs to elite competitors. Based in Pittsburg, California, it directs philanthropic resources toward opportunities for youth and Olympic hopefuls, aiming to strengthen Team USA and the broader track and field community through its grant programs and related initiatives. The foundation emphasizes a pipeline approach, providing funding to athletes who may have Olympic medal potential and to youth clubs and development programs, with the goal of fostering physical, educational, social, and character development as athletes mature. Recent activity includes partnerships and board appointments, as well as programs like the Nationals Masters Travel Grant to expand access to national-level competition for Masters athletes. The organization operates within the spectator sports industry, focusing on funding and program support rather than commercial ventures.
