Since 1974, Usher Precision Manufacturing has produced precision machined and sheet metal components for aerospace as well as the high tech, medical, and machine tool industries. Usher’s first product was wing ribs for the airplane kit industry. Through the development of hydroforming, we expanded the product line to include all types of formed parts. With the addition of magneforming, Usher was able to broaden production capabilities for our aerospace customers. Soon after we grew to a full service machine shop and completed the transition to a precision shop capable of performing a wide variety of manufacturing processes. In October 2008, Usher was certified to AS9100 and ISO 9001:2000. In June of 2012 Usher was upgraded to Rev C of AS9100. Today, Usher manufacturers thousands of parts each month for aerospace customers such as Rockwell Collins, Triumph/Vought and Northrup Grumman and dozens of other customers across a variety of industries. We consistently evaluate our business and utilize numerous lean techniques to provide products that are produced on-time with zero defects and are competitively priced.
