In UV Medico, we are a team of scientists, experts and pioneers who are passionate about using far-UVC light to prevent viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens from affecting our society. As a result, we have launched the first non-harmful filtered far-UVC lamp on the market, UV222™. UV222™ is designed to emit far-UVC light at a particular wavelength of 222 nanometers. Previously, when a far-UVC lamp was designed to emit far-UVC light of 222 nanometers, the lamp would inevitably emit small amounts of secondary emission in other wavelengths as well. These wavelengths can be harmful. Our unique and patented safety filter technology blocks all the harmful and unwanted wavelengths from emission, which is a significant breakthrough for the disinfection of occupied spaces, highly increasing its effectiveness and usability against the spreading of infectious diseases, including COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2).
