Uwajimaya is one of the largest Asian gift & grocery retailers in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1928 in Tacoma, Washington by Fujimatsu Moriguchi, the business has grown from a small mom & pop Japanese store to a tourist destination as well as local favorite with four stores in Seattle, Bellevue, Renton and Beaverton.  We are known for our wide selection of Asian groceries and gift items and our high quality seafood, meat, and produce selection.  
Our reputation is built on being known as a pan-Asian information specialist and part of our mission is to educate the customer on various aspects of Asian culture, particularly in relation to food.
