Valley Beit Midrash is a small nonprofit in the Religious Institutions sector centered in Phoenix, Arizona, serving the Greater Phoenix Jewish community. Its mission focuses on bringing together a diverse cross-section of the community, promoting cooperation among Jewish organizations, and cultivating the next generation of Jewish leaders. The organization provides adult education through classes, panel discussions, and scholars-in-residence, runs specialized programs for medical professionals and young leaders, and publishes KOLOT while producing related podcasts and videos.
Founded in 2007 by Rabbi Dr. Darren Kleinberg in collaboration with Temple Chai, VBM has since partnered with local and national groups to promote spiritually enriching programming. A notable recent development is a February 2026 partnership with Shalomraleigh to support an initiative providing essential goods to the local unhoused community.
