Valley Center Municipal Water District is located in northern San Diego County and provides water and wastewater reclamation services to its domestic, agricultural, and commercial customers. The District encompasses a 101 square mile service area and serves a population of approximately 25,600. It includes the unincorporated area of Valley Center and unincorporated areas north of Escondido.

The District’s Water System has 297 miles of pipe, 7 aqueduct connections, 27 pumping stations, 106 pumps, and 42 covered reservoirs with 137 million gallons of water storage.
