Valley Recovery Center provides specialized treatment for men with addictions to alcohol, drugs, gambling, and more.  We are family owned and operated, and the community and environment we create for our residents reflects that.  Furthermore, we recognize how important it is for family members and loved ones to be involved in the recovery process.  Strengthening our residents' support system is a vital part of effectively treating addiction.  When a new resident comes to Valley Recovery Center, he sees that he is now part of a community committed to helping him overcome his addiction.

We know that our residents must be receptive to the treatment they receive in order for it to truly work.  For this reason, we offer residents a variety of programs ranging from those focused on spirituality to 12 step programs to those that concentrate on identifying triggers and changing behaviors.  Residents move through the programs at their own pace but in a structured environment.  The goal is for our residents to find the programs that really speak to their personal experience with addiction and address the issues that most affect them, all while they're part of a nurturing community.

We also know how important it is for our residents to build a solid foundation for life after they leave Valley Recovery Center.  We put a special emphasis on programs that help residents develop the life skills that will put them in the best position to avoid relapses.  The safe environment we create at Valley Recovery Center is a necessary part of helping our residents, but we also know that our residents must be prepared for life's challenges.  Stability both at home and at work is a very important factor in handling stress and maintaining sobriety, so our treatment includes a regular program on developing life skills.  A good career is crucial to achieving that stability, so we provide them with help building resumes and enrolling in school (or back in school, as the case may be).
