We target compelling net returns with short duration (typically 1-3 years) while utilizing modest financial leverage and with minimal interest rate risk.  The team runs a niche strategy that has several important barriers to entry and thus few competitors.  Varden Pacific launched its flagship fund in April 2011 and was founded by seasoned Wall Street professionals with deep expertise in structured and derivative-based assets.
