Varden is a local newspaper published in Skien, Telemark, Norway. It has a long-standing presence in the regional press, publishing daily since 1895 and adopting the tabloid format in 2001. The paper prints about 20,000 copies per issue and reported roughly 72,000 daily readers across all platforms as of 2016.

Its origins date back to a test issue published on 17 December 1874, placing it in the region's 19th-century press history. The publication is led by editor-in-chief Tom Erik Thorsen.
