Varusteleka was established in 2003 and has grown steadily ever since. We started as a back-of-the-van retailer for army surplus and airsoft gear, and have since developed into a well-respected supplier of high-quality tactical gear for professionals and for other demanding use. 

Varusteleka is Finnish and comes from "varuste", which stands for equipment, and "leka" which stands for, among other things, a sledgehammer.
