Dr. Stephen Sorenson, the Medical Director of Vein Specialists of Illinois, has 20 years of clinical experience treating vein disease and has performed in excess of 30,000 patient treatments.

Dr. Sorenson is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.

In addition to these qualifications, Dr. Sorenson is both a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).

Dr. Sorenson’s mission is to provide each patient with a comfortable, respectful experience when in our care, as well as delivering the best possible outcome from their treatment. Our office encompasses a comprehensive, minimally invasive approach to varicose vein care. Vein care treatments do not require hospitalization or surgery, all procedures are performed on an outpatient basis and normal activity can be resumed immediately after treatment.
