Velo Orange is a small manufacturing company based near Annapolis, Maryland, focused on bicycles and related components. Founded in 2006, it began as an importer of elegant parts once produced for cyclo-tourists and randonneurs by small firms in Europe, Japan, and the UK, and it now recreates and improves those designs with modern manufacturing techniques and materials. Its catalog reflects an unusual mix of products that the company develops and imports to support long rides such as century trips, inn-to-inn tours, or rides along dirt roads.
The target customers are riders seeking durable, refined equipment for touring and gravel riding who may encounter limited availability or high prices for classic designs. Recent coverage notes that Velo Orange announced at the MADE event its entry into the 32-inch wheel market, signaling product expansion beyond its traditional size range.
