Therapy is rigorous, repetitive and many times painful for adults. Amplify that 10X for the kids and adolescence, especially with disabilities and developmental delays. Therefore, there is no surprise that keeping kids focused and motivated during their therapy is difficult. Consequently, the lack of adherence leads to less than desirable outcomes. Furthermore, session cancellations, no shows, and drop offs yield in administrative, staffing, financial burden and ultimately a loss of revenue to the provider. With the value-based care model, there is a greater regulatory pressure on the provider to keep patient compliance and outcomes to a higher standard.

And this is what we do at Verapy. We've created a platform that incorporates engaging virtual reality game therapies for kids and adolescence. The idea of making therapy more fun with the games isn’t new. Some of the well known consoles have already done that for us. We take gamification, however, to the next level, beyond just the entertainment. What's unique about Verapy is that we capture meaningful and measurable data for therapists and parents to monitor and track progress. Our exercise and therapy protocols are exclusively built by the therapists for the patients.
