Verilux operates in the wellness and fitness services sector, designing patented lighting products that replicate natural daylight by using specific wavelengths. Its offerings are organized into three segments: therapy lights aimed at improving mood and energy, productivity lights for better vision, and sanitizing lights for chemical-free cleaning. These products are presented as clinically proven to improve people's lives, reflecting a focus on practical well-being and environmental hygiene.

Headquartered in Waitsfield, Vermont, the company positions itself as a small- to mid-sized player focused on light-based wellness solutions. Its customers appear to be individuals seeking mood and energy enhancement, improved vision, and chemical-free cleaning options. In 2017, Verilux published a resource outlining the most common ways light therapy can affect people, drawing on clinical studies and customer feedback.
