Verious operates as a marketplace dedicated to mobile app components, enabling developers to license pre-built libraries and other third-party resources to speed up development and broaden monetization options. The platform aggregates mobile SDKs, iOS and Android components, development tools, services, and major open source projects, providing a centralized place for independent and enterprise developers as well as service providers to discover and license software libraries for their apps. A notable feature is the patent-pending MobileCode Wrapper, which supports publishing metered and copy-protected libraries to enforce various licensing models, while buyers can post and follow component requests to gauge market demand. Based in San Carlos, California, Verious operates within the technology, information, and internet sector, focusing on streamlining the mobile app development process and enabling access to third-party services that might be difficult to build in-house.
