The Vermont Principals’ Association (VPA) serves as the unified professional organization for school leaders across Vermont — representing elementary, middle, and high school principals, assistant principals, and directors of student activities. Through advocacy, professional learning, and collaboration, the VPA works to strengthen educational leadership and ensure that every student in Vermont has access to high-quality learning and co-curricular opportunities. We support leaders and schools by: Coordinating statewide athletic and activity programs, including over 25 sports and co-curricular championships. Providing leadership development and professional growth opportunities for educators across all levels. Advocating for policies and practices that foster equity, inclusion, and student well-being. Building communities of practice that celebrate sportsmanship, student voice, and whole-child learning. At its core, the VPA believes in the power of principled leadership and the collective responsibility to create safe, supportive, and inspiring environments where all students and educators can thrive.
