Vetafarm operates in pharmaceutical manufacturing for animals, developing health solutions that aim to improve the quality of life for animals while supporting their human caretakers through education. The company originated from the efforts of two veterinarians who created treatments for medical issues with previously no options, including the world's first Psittacosis treatment registered in 1990, described as Australia’s first companion bird medicine. Dr Tony Gestier acquired sole ownership and continues to guide the company as it expands its product lines and reaches caretakers, veterinarians and animal enthusiasts.
