Veterans Life Center North Carolina operates a residential program in Raleigh intended to assist at-risk 21st-century veterans. Its aim is to give residents the chance to play constructive, personally meaningful roles in civil society by strengthening mental fitness and physical health, improving life skills, and offering vocational training. Through therapy, counseling, and skill development, the program supports reintegration and seeks to prevent crises such as chronic homelessness, incarceration, suicide, and premature death. At full capacity, the facility is designed to house 100 to 150 residents across four wings with shared living spaces and on-site amenities to support daily living and programming. The center serves veterans who are eligible for VA services and who want to engage in education, therapy, vocational training, or life-skills development, agreeing in writing to participate and to follow the center's policies while helping shape their reintegration plan. It positions itself as the only statewide organization in North Carolina dedicated to delivering specialized services, counseling, training, and mentoring to guide veterans toward self-reliance.
