Established in 1969, Vic Bailey Automotive has served the community for over fifty years. The family-owned and operated automotive group includes six new car franchises – Ford, Lincoln, Honda, Volkswagen, Mazda, and Subaru. Each dealership has a state-of-the-art service center and an express maintenance department. The group’s I-CAR Gold Class Collision Center is located on the campus of the Mazda Subaru dealership. 

	Vic Bailey Jr. opened his first dealership in 1969. The original store, Vic Bailey Lincoln Mercury, was located on West Main Street in Spartanburg. In the 1980s, Vic Bailey Automotive moved to East Daniel Morgan Avenue in downtown Spartanburg which is where three of the four stores are located today. The newly constructed Volkswagen showroom is located on Reidville Road near Interstate 26. 

	Vic Bailey Automotive has a rich history. The Lincoln dealership is the oldest Lincoln dealership in South Carolina, and the Ford governmental fleet department continues to be one of the leading volume sellers in the nation. Seven members of the Bailey family work full-time for the company.
