Vida Verde Nature Education operates in the environmental services space, delivering free, overnight outdoor education experiences for elementary and early adolescent students. By offering 3-day camps during the school year for 4th to 6th graders, as well as teen summer programs and family activities, the organization provides immersive environmental learning opportunities at no cost to participants. Its primary customers are students who typically lack access to such experiences, with schools and families benefiting from expanded educational equity and hands-on environmental engagement. Based in San Gregorio, California, Vida Verde emphasizes experiential learning that situates students in natural settings to support broader understanding of the environment. The organization appears to be a relatively small to mid-sized nonprofit focused on social impact within the environmental education sector, aiming to broaden access to outdoor learning for youth and families. A recent development noted in its context is the continued operation of its free programs, including year-round offerings for 4th–6th graders, teen campers, and family programming.
