VietHope is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2002 with the aim of improving education for talented but economically disadvantaged youth in Vietnam. A volunteer network of roughly twenty volunteers across the United States and Vietnam manages its programs. Its work began with scholarship programs and has expanded to include leadership skills trainings for scholarship recipients. 

VietHope operates primarily in Saigon, Hue, and Can Tho in Vietnam. The organization is based in Covina, California. Former scholarship recipients often return to volunteer and help lead its programs, sustaining ongoing participation and program leadership.
