The Vineyard Streetball Classic, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit serving the Martha's Vineyard and Metro Atlanta area’s to promote exercise, improve, and build basketball court play areas, by hosting annual basketball tournaments and educational programs.

Since 2002, the Vineyard Streetball Classic, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, has taken place each year on July 4 Weekend at Niantic Park in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard.
During the annual tournament, students age 9 to 18 from across the northeast showcase their athletic talents in an environment of positive recreational competition. Each team of three to five players battles through a series of double-elimination rounds with the top teams in each division receiving trophies at the end of the day.

Vision
 Encourage youth to participate by playing basketball at our tournaments and to learn about the importance of good health & exercise. Initiate community partnerships with non-for profit organizations to assist in the education and promotion of exercise, and an active healthy lifestyle among our youth and the community.

Goal
Expand the Streetball Classic to other recreational park locations on the east coast. Begin by adding an Atlanta area tournament in the fall of 2013. Winners of all our tournaments will be rewarded with participation in our annual Vineyard Streetball Classic tournament on Martha’s Vineyard on the weekend of July 4th.
