Visionaries, Inc. is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to producing and distributing media that inspires individuals and communities to take action for positive social change.

For 17 seasons now Visionaries has been producing "The Visionaries" documentary series for public television. Visionaries Host Sam Waterston (from "Law & Order") highlights the rarely told stories of non-profit organizations all over the globe that are working to make a positive difference in their community and beyond.

To date more than 165 organizations have been profiled in 60 countries on 6 continents and in more than 70 U.S. cities. Some of the issues covered are AIDS prevention, health care, economic development, education, environmental awareness, hunger relief, homelessness, crisis intervention, and the list goes on.
