Visitation Catholic School, Pre-K to 8th grade, has served the Chicago communities of Englewood and Back of the Yards since 1891. We continue to serve with the support of generous donors and our community. We believe collaboration and building relationships should be at the heart of every ministry and strive to build strong and lasting relationships with students, parents, teachers, members of our community, and the church. Catholic education is an expression of the mission entrusted to the church by Jesus Christ. As a Catholic school, we hope to realize the threefold purpose of Christian Education: to teach doctrine, build community, and serve. Visitation students are educated and guided in a holistic environment, where they learn to become intellectually competent, morally and spiritually informed, and emotionally healthy in their relationships with God, the world of information, and each other.
