Welcome… Visiting Mental Health (VMH) is a private psychotherapy firm that conducts Individual and Group Psychotherapy in Skilled Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Independent Living Facilities. We also evaluate patients requiring partial hospitalization, overall placement, Baker Acts, and provide comprehensive after-care counseling programs. At VMH we believe that alleviating symptoms as quickly as possible is of paramount importance and our goal-oriented approach reflects this belief. Since its inception, the firm has grown to include Psychological, Psych-educational, Forensic, and Neuropsychological Assessment Services. VMH therapists and staff service patients throughout the state of Florida. We pride ourselves on having positive long-standing relationships with our clients and we can honestly say that our VMH family is committed to yours! We are additionally delighted to offer in-service staff training for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Independent Living Facilities. Our goal is to help staff to improve relationships with their residents, as well as enhance communication with management and co-workers. These programs are offered at no charge and may be scheduled at any time. VMH therapists are Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, or License Eligible Therapists completing hours toward FL licensure. We have many talented bi-lingual therapists experienced in the fields of geriatrics, cognitive impairment, forensics and the chronically mentally ill.
