Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Ohio is a nonprofit health care organization that delivers home-based medical and hospice services. Founded in 1902, the agency is based in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, and today stands as the largest home healthcare provider in the state, serving thousands of patients and families across Northeast, Northwest, Central, and Mid-Ohio. Its work centers on providing care in the privacy and comfort of patients' homes. It offers an expansive array of home healthcare services, including skilled nursing, rehabilitative therapies, mental health support, chronic disease management, and rehabilitation. The hospice program focuses on comfort and symptom control to improve quality of life, while the Home Assist team provides personal care, companionship, and private duty nursing to help with daily tasks and medically complex needs. In 2017, the organization launched a pilot program in partnership with the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County to support individuals transitioning from short-term detox programs.
