VISTA RESEARCH HISTORY
Vista Research Inc. was founded in 2001 with the goal of connecting clients to individuals with experience in industries such as Aerospace and Defense, Basic Materials, Business Services, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, Hospitality, Leisure and Gaming, Industrials, Legal, Media, Retail/Consumer, Technology and Telecom. Acquired by Standard & Poor’s in 2006, Vista Research became part of its Equity Research Services group. 

Vista Research operated as a subscription-based, primary research service that supported institutional money managers, corporations and legal and consulting firms.  Vista Research connected its clients with Members of the Society of Industry Leaders, a carefully selected global network of key thought leaders and industry professionals.  

Guidepoint Global acquired Vista Research in May 2009. Members of the Society of Industry Leaders are now members of "Guidepoint Global Advisors." Guidepoint Global Clients have access to a wide range of product offerings which include one-on-one phone consultations, access to industry specific teleconferences, follow-up consultations on industry conferences, and execution of industry surveys, just to name a few.  In short, Guidepoint enables Clients to efficiently gain industry insight, facilitating more informed decisions.
