Strategic merger VOA has joined Stantec, combining capabilities of an architecture and engineering firm with a large North American footprint, signaling potential for cross-sell of planning, design, and consulting services to a broader client base.

Sustainability leadership As part of Stantec, the combined entity strengthens sustainability and community-focused design capabilities, creating sales opportunities in green building, resilience, and urban planning projects for public and private sector clients.

Mid-market focus VOA’s size (201-500 employees) and revenue range position it to target mid-market clients seeking integrated architectural and planning services, with potential upsell into larger firms via Stantec’s network.

Existing partnerships Past collaborations with HUD, SNAP, Catholic Charities, and Hope House indicate a track record in social impact projects and government-affiliated programs, suggesting opportunities for grant-driven, affordable housing, and community development initiatives.

Financials and growth Revenue in the $50M-$100M range alongside a high-profile corporate backing from Stantec implies capacity for larger, multi-disciplinary engagements and enterprise-level procurement, enabling longer sales cycles with scalable solutions.
