When placed under slabs, around piers, or under beams, the air pocket created by the form enables the soil to migrate to the void space without applying pressure or contacting the concrete structure, which prevents long-term damage. Utility isolation systems support below-grade plumbing and conduit while creating a void space around the pipes, protecting them from migrating and expansive soil damage.
